Tropical Christmas

For this tutorial I am using the following:
PTU kit "Tropical Christmas" by Creative Scraps by Crys which you can purchase HERE 
The artwork of Ismael Rac which you can purchase HERE
You must have a license to use this tube
Mask is by WEESCOTSLASS WSL_107 which you can download from her site HERE
Filters used are:
Xero Radiance
Eye Candy Gradient Glow
Font used is:
Marguerite

Let's Begin!
Open an new image size 700 x 700 transparent. Floodfill white.
Open Paper 6. Copy and paste as a new layer. Apply mask WSL_107. Merge group. Duplicate and merge down, merging the two mask layers together.
Open Frame 4 and paste as a new layer. Image-rotate-left 90 degrees. 
Using your magic wand select inside the left rectangle of the frame. Select-modify-expand by 10.
Add a new layer and floodfill with fg/bg gradient with the following colors- #c8e3e3 and #e0dbc0. Angle 45, Repeats 3. Select none and move below frame layer.
Add drop shadow to frame.
Open Element 4 and copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the right side of the tag. (See mine for example) Add drop shadow.
Open Element 25 and copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%. Place to the right and bottom of palm tree. Duplicate and mirror. Merge these two layers together and add a drop shadow. 
Open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer. Resize if needed.
Open your tube closeup and copy and paste as a new layer. Move under the frame layer. Select the gradient layer you created earlier and select all-select float-select defloat.
Move your closeup inside the selected area to your liking then seclect- invert-delete. Crop to canvas.
On your closeup use Xero Radiance with these settings:

Change the blend mode to Luminance and layer visibility to 75.
Open Element 24 and copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom of your tag and drag under your closeup tube layer. Add a very light drop shadow.
Open Element 33 and copy and paste as a new layer above your frame layer. Place between your main tube and frame layer as shown in my example. Add a drop shadow.
If you are using the same tube as I did, open Element 45 and copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 40%. Place over Christmas present on tube and add a drop shadow.
Open Element 16 and copy and paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place along top of the frame. Duplicate and flip. Place along bottom of frame.
Duplicate again and rotate image left 90 degrees. Duplicate and mirror. Place along sides of frame. Merge the 4 layers of this element together and erase the leftover
bits at the the top and bottom of the sides. Add a drop shadow.
Open Elements 8 and 21 and resize both 40%. Place as I have on layer above palm tree and add a drop shadow.
Open Element 13 copy and paste as a new layer above your main tube layer. Place as I have and add a drop shadow.
Open Element 1 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, place as I have, add drop shadow.
Open Element 7 copy and paste as a new layer above surfboard layer. Resize 40%, image-free rotate-rotate right 15. Place and add drop shadow.
Open Element 43 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%. Image-free rotate-rotate right 10. Sharpen. Place as I have. Use Eye Candy Gradient Glow with the following settings:

Using your magic wand, select the white glow and add noise at 100%. Add drop shadow. Select none.
Resize image to your liking and add your copyright information.
Add your name, delete white background layer, merge visible and you're done!
For my name I used the font "Marguerite" in a red color from the tag and applied a gradient glow with the following settings using white and blue from the tag.

Add your drop shadow and you're done!

Welcome to my new tutorial blog! I have recently returned to the PSP world after a 3 year break and am so excited to be back. I have missed it tremendously. I will try to have my first tutorial posted sometime this week. I want to say a HUGE thank you to Crys from Creative Scraps by Crys for making my blog layout for me.
